Organismal Biology Degree
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology - Organismal Biology Track
Organismal Biology emphasizes study of the entire organism – it’s structure, function, ecology, and evolution. This major gives students a broad understanding of the classical biological sciences with special interests in natural history, evolution, systematics, behavioral biology, field biology, and other environmentally related sciences.

Degree Requirements
- The B.A. in Biology – Organismal Biology requires a minimum of 120 total credits.
- All required and elective courses must be completed with a grade of “C-” or better.
Organismal Biology Major Requirements
Students are required to complete 46 semester credit hours of degree specific biology courses – 38 must be upper-level courses.
A minor is not required for this major.
