Biology Accelerated Master’s Program
Masters of Science (MS) in Biology – Accelerated Master’s Program
Advanced undergraduate students currently enrolled at UTPB can earn both a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology or Chemistry (Biochemistry Track) and a Master of Science Degree in Biology in five years. Students in this program will conduct original research leading to a master's thesis.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Enrollment in a UTPB undergraduate biology or chemistry (biochemistry track) program
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and 3.25 in undergraduate major
- 30 or fewer credits remaining to earn your bachelor’s degree
- Faculty approval from the respective department (Biology or Chemistry)
- No GRE required for AMP students
