Genuine Foods is proud to serve the UTPB community with a fresh approach to campus dining focused on quality ingredients, chef-inspired meals, hospitality, and creating spaces where students feel at home.

At Genuine Foods, we believe food plays an important role in student success. Whether fueling early morning classes, late-night study sessions, athletic performance, or time spent with friends, our goal is to create dining experiences students can count on every day.

As we prepare to welcome students for the Fall 2026 semester, Genuine Foods will use the summer months to thoughtfully transition and enhance dining spaces across campus. This preparation period allows our team to complete operational improvements, refresh dining environments, install new equipment, train team members, and ensure every location is ready to deliver the best possible dining experience from day one.

Our goal is to create welcoming spaces, expanded menu offerings, and a seamless dining experience when campus dining officially launches in August 2026. We appreciate your patience and look forward to serving the UTPB community!

UTPB Dining Hall

A modern all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience featuring multiple chef-driven stations designed to offer variety, freshness, and comfort throughout the day. Students can explore a wide range of flavors and customizable options, including:

Feature – Rotating chef-crafted daily specials inspired by seasonal ingredients, campus favorites, and comfort classics
Simply – Allergen-friendly selections thoughtfully prepared to support a variety of dietary needs and lifestyles
Press – Toasted sandwiches, paninis, melts, and hot handheld favorites made fresh throughout service
Ember – Fresh-off-the-grill favorites including burgers, grilled proteins, and hot comfort foods
Wok – Asian-inspired favorites such as ramen, pho, rice bowls, stir fry creations, and noodle dishes
Terra – Globally inspired flavors and interactive action stations featuring rotating international cuisine and chef experiences
Hearth – Stone-fired pizza, pasta dishes, baked classics, and warm Italian-inspired comfort foods

Mesa Market  

Your convenient campus stop for coffee, snacks, and quick meals throughout the day. Mesa Market serves freshly brewed favorites including lattes, caramel macchiatos, americanos, and other café-style beverages to help students stay fueled between classes. Guests can also grab fresh sandwiches, crisp salads, protein snacks, candies, chips, and everyday essentials for a fast and easy dining experience on the go. Perfect for busy schedules, Mesa Market combines convenience with fresh options students can enjoy anytime.

Fiona’s Place

Bold flavors, comfort food favorites, and crave-worthy creations come together at Fiona’s Place, located in the Student Activity Center (SAC).. Students can enjoy signature items like the rich and savory Birria Burger, crispy and spicy Texas Hot Chicken Sandwich, flavorful Pulled Pork Tacos, and the fresh, hearty Texas Wedge Salad. With rotating limited-time offers, featured chef specials, and seasonal menu drops throughout the semester, Fiona’s Place keeps the menu exciting while delivering the comfort foods students love.

The Perch

We Proudly Serve Starbucks® – Your go-to campus coffee destination, located outside the library, featuring handcrafted Starbucks® favorites including espresso drinks, lattes, cold brew, refreshers, frappes, hot teas, and seasonal beverages. Whether students need a morning coffee before class, an afternoon pick-me-up, or a late-night study companion, The Perch offers a welcoming space to recharge, connect, and refuel. Guests can also enjoy fresh pastries, grab-and-go snacks, and convenient options designed for busy campus life.

Wildcatter Café

Conveniently located inside the CEED Building on the Midland campus, Wildcatter Café offers bold flavors and quick, satisfying meals designed for students, faculty, and staff on the go. Signature favorites include the stacked Texas BLT, flavorful Chori Pollo Torta, and the hearty Big Italian Cubano, alongside fresh grab-and-go snacks, beverages, and quick meal options perfect between classes or meetings. With rotating limited-time offers and featured specials throughout the semester, Wildcatter Café brings variety, convenience, and big Texas-inspired flavor to the Midland campus experience.
