How to Accept Your Financial Aid at UTPB
Once you’ve been awarded financial aid at UTPB, the next step is to review and accept your awards through your student account. Not all aid is handled the same way, so it’s important to understand what requires action.
The Pell Grant is automatically accepted. Other grants and scholarships may require acceptance. Loans are optional and must be accepted if you choose to borrow.

How to accept your financial aid

Sign In Now
Visit my.utpb.edu, click "Sign in now" and login using your Falcon ID and password.

Financial Aid
Click financial aid from the financial resources drop down menu.

Select Current Academic Year
For example, for academic year 2025 - 2026, select 2026; academic year 2026-2027, select 2027.

Accept/Decline
Select "Accept/Decline" option on the left drop menu.

Edit
Click on "Edit" button or pencil icon to select award type.

Accept
Select from drop down menu, "Accept". *Loans can be decreased to desired amount by choosing "reduce".

Submit
Click "Submit" to confirm acceptance of aid.

Yes
Click "yes" to finalize accepting of aid.
