UT Permian Basin proudly introduced a new academic logo, approved by the UT System Board of Regents in May 2021, as a symbol of our commitment to the Permian Basin. Designed with inspiration from the region’s oil field road patterns and the letters UTPB, the mark represents our academic mission. The Falcon shield will continue to represent athletics and spirit groups. This evolution reflects our focus on student success, innovation, and honoring our West Texas roots.
